The William Kirkpatrick collection documents the beginning years of Grand Valley State College from 1960-1980. The collection includes building plans, budget reports, annual reports, and self studies.
Biography
William Kirkpatrick was the President of the Kalamazoo Paper Box Corporation and one of the original members of the Grand Valley State University Board of Control with James Copeland, Icie Macy Hoobler, Kenneth Robinson, Grace Kistler, Bill Seidman, and Arnold Ott. In 1974 Mr. Kirkpatrick donated a racing shell to the GVSC crew team.
