The collection includes handwritten correspondence by Harrison, primarily to his mother, one early letter to his sister Judy; promotional materials from publishers, producers, and event coordinators; photographs including 3 unique early images of Harrison as a young man; copies of magazines, calendars, and other publications that include Harrison's writings; and newspaper clippings of interviews and articles about Harrison. See Jim Harrison papers (RHC-16) for additional materials in all series.
