Transcript	[Page 1] Camp Near Whiteoak Churg March 14th 1863 Dear Mother it is with great pleasure that I set down to write a few lines to you to let you know that I am well at present and I hope these few lines will find you all enjoying the same good blessing I have rote a letter to you some three weeks ago and hand got an answer yacht [haven't gotten an answer yet] and perhaps you dident get it or maybe if you sent it it got lost and we dident get our mail nearly a week we are in our brigade again and we was three days on picket this week and we are under marching orders but where it goes I dont know
