How are you & yours including Em. hope you are not having such cold weather as we are. has come on all at once --- snapping --- other things remain as usual --- dull --- Times are hard here & I suppose everywhere else. was in Boston yesterday & people are complaining there just as they are here --- and predicting lots of failures this winter --- I hope in the spring things will look different. I suppose you remember my Engine --- I applied for a patent & after waiting several months they have refered my solicitor to one similar granted in '67 to a Henry Bailey in N.Y.
