Romeo Mich. June 9th, 1861

Dear Friends

I have just recieved your letter here it was forwarded from Adrian --- And I was very glad to hear from Home once more And to hear that you are all well --- You no doubt will be some what surprised to hear that I am traveling again --- the "Rangers" came after me to Adrian to travel with them again And they would not take no for an answer --- and as business was so dull there at Adrian I was not shure of a job long I thought I would go. I left Adrian 3 weeks ago --- We are traveling with a Circus in the North part of Michigan we stopped in Detroit about two weeks ago --- Was at Port Huron on Lake Huron ---  And now we are going towards Lake Superior --- Through the Pine country --- We have a nice show and a good Civil Company if times are
